17 Round Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series 2013 – Las Vegas

Ken Roczen porta a casa il titolo 250 West

Last race of the 2013 SX season, Roczen wins the Championship with Tomac just 2 points behind. Tomac trying is few chances to confirm last year’s title, with an impressive race, pushing like crazy. Davalos for the holeshot with the top two riders, in 5th, Roczen and 7th, Tomac. In just a few laps, everything changes, with Roczen in 2nd behind Davalos, followed by Tomac, charging on Roczen, passing him at lap 10 and setting his sight on Davalos, passing him at lap 12. Once in the lead Tomac keeps pushing, increasing his advantage, but with a lap to go Roczen passes Davalos, finishes 2nd and wins the Championship.

Wil Hahn viene incoronato Campione nella classe 250 East

Gavin Faith for the holeshot in front of Wil Hahn. After the first lap Bowers moves into 2nd and at lap 2 takes the lead. Hahn gets into 2nd with 10 laps to go, but Musquin passes him; the KTM French rider is trying a desperate chase for the win that could give him the title. He gets very close to Bowers but not enough, Musquin – who compromised his chances last week in Salt Lake – has to leave way to Hahn (GEICO HONDA), who gets his first career title.

SX 450

With the title already assigned to Ryan Villopoto in Salt Lake last week, the race is a battle for 2nd place in the Championship between Dungey and Millsaps. Holeshot for Weimer, followed by Reed, Short, Dungey, Villopoto and Barcia: with an impressive fast lap Villopoto is in the lead with Weimer not giving it away easily, trying to re-gain the lead, but after a few laps Dungey passes him too. Millsaps with a difficult start tries to work his way back to the front. He’s fast in 5th and right after in 4th. At lap 7 he passes Weimer and tries to get Dungey. Dungey does not give way and is actually able to close in on Villopoto, who is able though to control and winning his 10th race this season. Millsaps finishes third in Vegas and gets the second place in the Championship with a point over Dungey, third.
