The defending champion, has competed with his left arm injured and was able to close the GP in ninth position. Sixth after the heats, TC222 has once again given a lesson, to all his opponents. In MX2, the championship leader Jeffrey Herlings (KTM Red Bull Factory) got injured on the first lap of the opening moto. The Dutchman, on board at  the KTM factory supported by Athena-GET, fell and fractured his left collarbone. Returning home immediately after the injury, Jeffrey was under surgery in order to reduce the fracture and shorten recovery time. Valentin Guillod (Standing Construct Yamalube Yamaha) finish the GP in third place. Also this time, the Swiss was aboard of his Yamaha equipped with the control unit GP1 Evo and the data acquisition system M40. Fourth place went to Jordi Tixier (Kawasaki KRT MX2) that led his KXF 250, always equipped with the control unit GP1 Evo and the data acquisition system M40, a step away from the championship podium.

The world championship motocross race will return in two weeks in Sweden, in Uddevalla, where the weekend of July 4-5, will be held the eleventh GP of the season.
