No time to mark on your calendar the entrance of the summer season for the # 12 GP of the season in 2016, and the riders had to face a very hot day. The "Tazio Nuvolari" of Mantua, the drivers found prohibitive climatic conditions with temperatures reached almost 40 degrees. Despite the difficulties, all the riders have worked hard and the crowd could watch always good races. In the MX2 class Jeffrey Herlings (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) riding his KTM 250 SXF supported by Athena GET collected his twelfth consecutive win. A success that has never been in doubt for the Dutch ace took his lead in the overall standings to 169 points more than on second in the overall standings. On the day (overall fifth) ranked its team mate Pauls Jonass (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) who was also riding the KTM 250 SXF supported by Athena GET. Jonass currently occupies the third position in the overall standings. In the premier class, the MXGP, difficult GP for Antonio Cairoli (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) aboard the KTM 450 SXF supported by Athena GET, suffered the after-effects of the injury suffered in England a week ago and had to fights hard in both motos. In race 1, because of a contact with another rider immediatly after the start, he was forced to comeback from the last position in the first corner until the sixth place under the chequered flag. In race 2, a great "hole shotof the Sicilian champion that, for eleven laps of seventeen,  he managed to keep the lead. His precarious conditions forced him to slow down but still managed to close the race in third place. Tony closed the GP in fourth overall, five points off the podium. Behind TC222, it is placed Jeremy Van Horebeek (Monster Energy Yamaha Racing Team) led the race on his Yamaha YZF 450 equipped with the control unit RX1 EVO, the data acquisition system M40 and the innovative Launch Control LC-GPA system. In the Women's World Championship, now in its fifth race on the seven planned this season, return to victory for Kiara Fontanesi (Honda -Fontaracing) which resulted in the race aboard his Honda CRF 250 equipped with the control unit RX1 EVO, the data acquisition system M40 and the innovative Launch Control LC-GPA system. For the four-time world champion, this was the first success this season. Kiara currently occupies the fifth position in the standings.
